 | | You can convert any file to wav format using the Winamp Disk Write plugin.
While conversion process is going on, you cannot hear the song, which is
normal.
You have to choose output directory, in which wav files will be stored. Please remember the
directory.
Here are the detailed steps for conversion:
- Open winamp preferences (Right click on winamp window->option -> preferences)
- Select Plugins-> Output.
- Double click on "NullSoft Disk Writer" on the right pane.
- This will prompt you to select a directory.
- Select Ok.
- Play the desired file; you will see a wav output in the directory u selected. You WILL NOT hear the song, which is normal.
- To restore back to non-recording mode, follow till step 2.
- Single click on "NullSoft Wave output". Select OK.
Please understand that unless you select wave output plugin again, in
place of disk writer, all the files played by
winamp will be converted to wav file.
